Dubai, March 18, 2025 – M A Yusuff Ali, the prominent Indian businessman and Chairman of LuLu Group, has pledged a generous Dirham contribution equivalent to Rs 47,28,28,800 to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, a charitable initiative spearheaded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The announcement underscores Yusuff Ali’s commitment to humanitarian causes and adds him to a growing roster of philanthropists making a tangible difference in the UAE and beyond.

The Fathers’ Endowment campaign aims to establish a sustainable endowment fund dedicated to providing healthcare and treatment for underserved and vulnerable communities. Launched as a tribute to fathers, the initiative reflects the UAE’s deep-rooted values of compassion and social responsibility, particularly during the holy month of Ramzan.

Yusuff Ali, who also serves as Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, expressed his admiration for the campaign’s mission. “The Fathers’ Endowment campaign carries a profound humanitarian message by supporting underprivileged communities and providing sustainable healthcare for those most in need,” he said in a statement. “Contributing to this noble cause is a meaningful way to honour one’s father, especially during Ramzan.”
