Gaza City, June 16, 2025 – The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Sunday that its fighters targeted an Israeli ground force of 11 soldiers in Abasan.
East of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, using an anti-personnel shell. The group claimed the attack caused casualties, including both dead and wounded.
In a separate statement, the Brigades said they fired a salvo of short-range 114mm “Rajoum” rockets at the Israeli settlement of Magen, located near the Gaza border.
These attacks occur amid ongoing clashes between Palestinian resistance groups and Israeli forces across the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military has not yet commented on the reported incidents.
