Gaza – Captain Suleiman Ahmed Zaid Al-Obaid, a former star of the Palestinian national football team and a key player for Al Shatee Club, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza, local sources confirmed.

Born on March 24, 1984, Suleiman Al-Obaid was widely regarded as one of the most talented attacking midfielders in the Gaza Strip League.

He played a vital role for both his club and the national squad, earning respect for his skill, leadership, and dedication to the game.
