Dubai – Dubai has granted long-term UAE Golden Visas to more than 200 exceptional educators from early childhood centers, schools, and universities across the emirate, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

The initiative, timed for World Teachers’ Day, recognizes the pivotal role of teachers in shaping Dubai’s future.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized this commitment in a statement: “Teachers and educators are the ones who light the way forward. They inspire, guide, and give our children the skills and confidence to succeed. Their impact goes beyond classrooms, building the character of our society and strengthening Dubai’s global stature.”

435 applicants in the first round, 223 educators 51 percent were selected based on merit, professional achievements, and community impact, irrespective of nationality, gender, or years of experience.

The program, first announced by Sheikh Hamdan on Teachers’ Day 2024, aligns with Dubai’s Education 33 (E33) Strategy to attract global teaching talent and position the city as a premier destination for educators.

Applications for the second round opened today and will run until December 15, 2025, inviting educators from private early childhood centers, schools, and international higher education institutions to apply.

This move underscores Dubai’s ongoing investment in human capital, reinforcing its vision for innovation-driven growth.
