LONDON — His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, met on Tuesday with representatives from Pearson at South Bank Technical College in London to discuss advancing educational collaboration between Jordan and the global learning company.
During the meeting, Crown Prince Al Hussein underscored the significance of the ongoing partnership between the Ministry of Education and Pearson, particularly through the implementation of the company’s accredited Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) program in the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness emphasized “the importance of focusing on the outcomes of this educational program,” noting that it aims “to increase graduates’ access to quality job opportunities in technical and vocational fields, and to train teachers.”
The Crown Prince also highlighted the National Future Technology Council’s plans to leverage the BTEC program’s specializations “to advance the educational process and strengthen Jordan’s technical capabilities.”

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa toured the college’s state-of-the-art technical facilities, where they were briefed on modern teaching methods and training tools used to equip students with practical skills for the future workforce.
The meeting was attended by Jordan’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Manar Dabbas, and Director of the Crown Prince’s Office, Dr. Zaid Al Buqain.
The visit reflects Jordan’s growing commitment to enhancing technical and vocational education through international partnerships that bridge global expertise with local innovation.
