Amman -Jordan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the government and people of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam after a powerful cyclone struck the country’s central regions, causing widespread devastation.
According to reports, the storm resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries, while thousands of residents were forced to evacuate from the affected areas as authorities undertook rescue and relief operations.
Ministry spokesperson Fuad Al-Majali expressed Jordan’s “full sympathy and solidarity with Vietnam during this difficult time,” reaffirming the Kingdom’s support for the Vietnamese people in the wake of the disaster.
He also extended “heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims” and wished a “speedy recovery for all those injured in the natural disaster.”
