Rafah: Renowned Hollywood actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie visited the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt on Friday to review humanitarian aid operations and show solidarity with Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The visit focused on monitoring the delivery of international relief supplies and drawing attention to the deepening humanitarian crisis resulting from the ongoing ‘Israeli’ assault on Gaza.
According to Egyptian news outlet Youm7, Jolie was welcomed at the border by Egyptian officials. During her visit, Jolie toured the Egyptian Red Crescent’s logistical warehouses near Rafah, which play a critical role in coordinating aid bound for Gaza.
The facilities handle the storage and distribution of essential supplies, including medical equipment, food, and fuel, before they are transferred across the border.

Sources said the actress also reviewed coordination efforts aimed at accelerating humanitarian access despite severe restrictions and operational challenges.
Jolie, a longtime advocate for refugees and conflict affected civilians, is additionally expected to visit Palestinians who have been injured in the conflict and are currently receiving treatment at medical facilities close to the border.
Her visit comes amid growing international concern over the humanitarian situation in Gaza, where shortages of food, medicine, and basic services continue to worsen.
