New York: Donald Trump has once again triggered international discussion after remarks suggesting renewed interest in acquiring Greenland , with the White House acknowledging the use of the U.S. military has not been completely ruled out.

According to officials, Donald Trump recently spoke about Greenland’s strategic importance , highlighting its location in the Arctic, rich natural resources , and growing geopolitical significance amid rising global competition.

When asked about the possibility of force, a White House spokesperson stated that while diplomatic and economic measures remain the preferred approach , “all options are on the table ” to U.S. national interests.

The comments have sparked strong reactions across Europe and beyond.

Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark, has firmly rejected any notion of being acquired, while Danish leaders reiterated that the island is not for sale.

Political analysts say Trump’s statements reflect the broader U.S. concerns about Arctic security, especially as Russia and china increase their presence in the region.

The renewed debate has fueled global conversations on sovereignty, international law, and the role of military power in modern diplomacy , placing greenland back at the center of global geopolitical attention.
