Abhijeet Dipke Allegedly slapped During Jaipur Protest Over NEET and Unemployment

Jaipur: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke was allegedly slapped and manhandled during a protest in Jaipur on Monday, where hundreds of young people gathered to raise concerns over alleged NEET examination irregularities and rising unemployment.

The incident took place at Shaheed Smarak, where Dipke had arrived to address supporters and students participating in the demonstration.

The Videos circulating on social media appeared to show Abhijeet Dipke being carried on the shoulders of supporters before a scuffle broke out in the crowd.

According to eyewitness accounts and videos from the scene, some individuals allegedly pulled him down, slapped him, and attempted to disrupt the gathering, leading to chaos among participants.

Dipke Condemns Attack

Following the incident, Dipke condemned the alleged assault and said such actions would not stop the movement from raising issues affecting students and job seekers.

“I was beaten while I was entering. No matter how many attacks take place, we should not raise our hands. Cowards use violence. Even if there are a hundred attacks, they cannot silence us,” Dipke said.

He emphasized that the protest remained peaceful despite the disruption.

“We will not respond with violence. Our movement is peaceful and will continue with peace and love,” he added.

“These are attempts to scare and distract us from the issue. Our only demand is that Dharmendra Pradhan must resign over student injustice and exam irregularities.”

In a video message shared on social media after the incident, Dipke further stated.

Questions Raised Over Security Arrangements

CJP leaders also questioned the handling of the protest and called for action against those responsible for the alleged attack.

Party spokesperson Abhishek Jain Bittu said, “The manner in which this attack happened raises serious questions about the role of the police and administration. Action must be taken against those responsible.”

National spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka also criticized the timing of the protest, alleging that it may have affected participation.

“Fixing a 3 pm protest in June appears intentional to reduce turnout,” he alleged.

Protest Focused on NEET Paper Leak and Unemployment

The demonstration centered on concerns related to alleged examination irregularities, including the NEET paper leak controversy, as well as unemployment among youth.

Addressing the gathering, Dipke accused authorities of failing to adequately address student concerns.

“Students are suffering due to repeated paper leaks and injustice. Instead of addressing it, attempts are being made to silence protests,” he said.

Participants also raised slogans demanding stronger action against exam-related corruption and policies aimed at generating employment opportunities for young people.

CJP Expands Protest Campaign

The Cockroach Janta Party, which describes itself as a satirical political movement focused on public issues, has recently expanded its campaigns across several cities, including Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Amritsar, and Lucknow.

Abhijeet Dipke said the movement seeks to represent the concerns of students and unemployed youth across India. He also warned that larger demonstrations could be organized in the national capital if their demands are not addressed.

The organization has gained significant attention online through its unconventional branding and activism, attracting support from students, activists, and social media users.

Other Participants Affected

During the unrest, another participant, Bewesh Adhikari from Sikkim, reportedly faced an assault and lost his mobile phone amid the confusion.

However, reports said he later thanked police personnel for their assistance following the incident.

Authorities have not yet issued a detailed statement regarding the alleged assault, and further developments are awaited as investigations continue.
