# Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate Arrested in Miami; UK Seeks Extradition Over New Charges

**Florida** : Influencer brothers [Andrew Tate ](https://alitoday.com/tag/andrew-tate/)and Tristan Tate have been arrested in Miami, Florida, on a sealed warrant, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

The United Kingdom has requested their extradition to face new criminal charges.

The UK's Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced additional charges against both brothers.

[Andrew Tate](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Tate), 39, has been charged with:

- Seven counts of rape

- Three counts of sex trafficking

- Three counts of assault

- Nineteen additional offences related to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography

Tristan Tate, 38, has been charged with:

- Two counts of rape

- One count of sexual assault

- Three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation

The brothers were already facing 21 criminal charges in the UK, including rape, human trafficking, and assault involving three alleged victims. The new charges increase the total number of alleged victims to seven.

The alleged offences are said to have taken place between 2010 and 2017.

Andrew and Tristan Tate are dual U.S.-UK citizens. They are also facing a separate criminal case in Romania, where they have been accused of rape and human trafficking.

Those allegations are unrelated to the UK case.

Their lawyer, Joseph McBride, said the brothers are innocent and expressed confidence that they would be cleared. Both Andrew and Tristan Tate have denied all allegations against them.

The UK government is now seeking their extradition from the United States so they can face trial on the new charges. The legal process is expected to continue in the coming weeks.
