A court in Romania decided that Andrew Tate must stay at home for 30 days because he’s accused of serious crimes like human trafficking. His brother, Tristan, has to follow some rules but can move around. This decision came after they were both briefly arrested for these accusations.
“The Tates salute the decision and firmly deny all allegations levelled against them, emphasising that the accusations are baseless and unsupported by substantial evidence,” Petrescu wrote in a statement.
Andrew Tate, along with his brother and two others, was accused in 2023 of serious crimes like human trafficking and rape. They were not allowed to leave Romania but could move around inside the country. Andrew Tate is known for his strong views on masculinity which many people find offensive because they believe he puts down women.
A post on Tate’s account on social media platform X said “All they try to do is damage my name with complete bullshit“, without specifying who was being referred to.

DIICOT reports that two of the suspects employed the “loverboy” tactic, where they deceived victims into believing they were in a loving relationship, to coerce 34 individuals into producing pornography. This material was then sold online, generating profits exceeding $2.8 million and 887,000 tokens.
DIICOT accuses one of the defendants of compelling a 17-year-old to engage in pornographic activities in both Britain and Romania, which reportedly earned $1.5 million. The same individual is also accused of having sexual relations with a 15-year-old on multiple occasions.
