# Elon Musk Thanks Rahul Gandhi after ‘Other Guy’ Remark in Starlink India Row

**NEW DELHI : **Elon Musk has thanked Congress leader [Rahul Gandhi ](https://alitoday.com/tag/rahul-gandhi/)after the Leader of the Opposition responded to Musk’s post questioning whether Mukesh Ambani was the “real boss of India” amid delays in [Starlink’s ](https://starlink.com/)commercial launch.

"Unfortunately, we are being blocked by certain oligarchs in order to maintain their monopolistic chokehold on the Indian people. You can guess who they are …"

In another X Post Elon Musk said

"Starlink is licensed in over 165 countries and has spent five years complying with every single law and requirement of the government of India, so why still no license?

Is Ambani the real boss of India?"

“Welcome to India, Elon. Wait till you discover the other guy.” Gandhi replied.

Although Rahul Gandhi did not name anyone, the remark was interpreted as a possible reference to industrialist Gautam Adani, whom Rahul Gandhi and the Congress have previously accused of benefiting from alleged government favouritism.

The exchange follows Musk’s allegations that unnamed powerful business interests were obstructing Starlink’s entry into India.

The Indian government rejected the allegations as “baseless and misconceived,” stating that regulatory approvals and security assessments for satellite internet providers were still underway.
