India launches strikes on Pakistan, Pakistan-administered Kashmir | Al Jazeera

Indian army launches air strikes on Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir, hitting nine locations as targets. with the name “Operation Sindoor”.

Pakistan vows a strong response to India’s missile attacks on six locations, which it calls an “act of war,” reporting at least eight deaths and over 35 injuries.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned Indian India’s “cowardly” and “unprovoked” attack.

“Pakistan reserves the absolute right to respond decisively to this unprovoked Indian attack — a resolute response is already under way,” Sharif wrote, according to a translation.
