# Rare White Falcon Sells for Dh1.5 Million at ADIHEX 2026 in Abu Dhabi, UAE

**ABU DHABI:** A rare ultra-white Gyr falcon chick has been sold for Dh1.5 million at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition ([ADIHEX](https://alitoday.com/tag/adihex/)) 2026, making it the most expensive falcon sold at this year’s exhibition so far.

The falcon, known as an “Ultra White Pure Gyr Garmousha,” was sold during the fifth round of the [ADIHEX ](https://alitoday.com/tag/adihex/)auctions.

### Falcon bred in the United States

The young falcon was bred by Mark Moglich’s falcon farm in the United States.

It weighs around 1,000 grams and measures about 16.5 inches in length and 16.5 inches in width.

Its pure white feathers and physical characteristics made it one of the standout birds at this year’s auction.

### Record sale at ADIHEX

The Dh1.5 million sale set a new high for the current edition of [ADIHEX ](https://alitoday.com/tag/adihex/)auctions and highlighted the continued demand for rare and high-quality falcons.

[Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri](https://www.linkedin.com/in/humaid-al-dhaheri-508aba53/), Managing Director and Group CEO of [ADNEC Group](https://www.adnecgroup.ae/), said the record sale demonstrates the “global status of ADIHEX auctions” and Abu Dhabi’s position as a major centre for falconry.

He also said the exhibition supports efforts to preserve authentic Emirati heritage and pass falconry traditions on to future generations.

ADIHEX remains an important event for falconry, hunting and equestrian culture, bringing together breeders, enthusiasts and specialists from the UAE and around the world.
