Mumbai: Comedian and content creator Samay Raina made a memorable return with the premiere episode of India’s Got Latent Season 2, and it was a sharp-witted exchange with actor Alia Bhatt.
The much-awaited second season of the popular talent-comedy show premiered on June 20, featuring actors Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh as special guests.
Their appearance also served as a promotional outing for their upcoming action thriller Alpha.

Samay immediately replied with a sarcastic comeback that caught everyone off guard: “Maine bhi kiya tha Jigra dekh ke regret.”
The joke appeared to leave Alia momentarily stunned, while Sharvari Wagh burst into laughter at the unexpected remark.
Alia, however, handled the moment with humour and responded instantly, saying, “Atleast, you watched the film. Thank you for contributing to my film.”

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Promote ‘Alpha’
Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s appearance on the show comes ahead of the release of Alpha, the latest addition to the Yash Raj Films Spy Universe.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film marks the franchise’s first female-led chapter and follows two highly trained agents on a dangerous mission.
Alia plays Sita, an elite operative trained from childhood, while Sharvari portrays another agent who joins forces with her.
The film also stars Anil Kapoor in a key role, with Bobby Deol playing the antagonist. Reports suggest that Hrithik Roshan will make a special appearance as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, linking the film to the broader Spy Universe.
Alpha is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 3, 2026.
