Riyadh : In the region Ras Tanura Saudi Aramco, eastern Saudi Arabia fourteen people killed in helicopter crash the kingdom said on sunday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), an official from the Ministry of Energy said investigations are currently underway in coordination with the relevant authorities to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“All 14 people on board were Saudi citizens.” official stated,

Authorities are now examining the aircraft and reviewing available evidence to identify what caused the crash.

The Energy Ministry official added that investigators are working closely with the concerned agencies to establish the technical reasons behind the accident.

“Investigations were underway in coordination with the relevant authorities to determine the technical causes of the crash,” the official said.

No additional details regarding the condition of those on board or the exact location of the crash were immediately released.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy has expressed deep sorrow over the victims of the Saudi Aramco helicopter crash, paying tribute to those who lost their lives in the tragic incident.

In a statement, the ministry mourned “the sons of the homeland who were martyred in the crash of the Aramco Saudi helicopter,” and prayed for them, saying, “May God envelop them in His vast mercy, accept them among the martyrs, and inspire their families with patience and solace.”
