Apple has announced its next product event on September 9 at 1 pm ET. Every year in September, Apple usually unveils new iPhones, and this year, we expect to see the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro.
These new phones might have slightly bigger screens for the Pro models, a new button called the Action Button for the regular models, and better cameras and processors. Both new iPhones will work with Apple’s new AI features, which until now, only the iPhone 15 Pro supports.
Apple might also show off new Apple Watches and possibly new Apple TV models, but these don’t get updated as often as the iPhones.

While new Mac computers with the M4 chip are expected soon, they might be announced later in the year, possibly in October or November, not at this September event.
Apple probably won’t talk about iPads at their next event because they already updated all their iPads in May. They brought out new iPad Pro and iPad Air models, made the 10th-gen iPad less expensive, and stopped making the old 9th-gen iPad, which was the last one with old-style features like a Lightning port.
At the event, we might learn when we can start using the new software updates like iOS 18 and macOS 15 Sequoia that were previewed in June. However, some cool new AI features won’t be available right away; we’ll have to wait for updates like iOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1 later in the year.
