New York: Apple has officially launched the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, introducing its most powerful and advanced smartphones yet. The new devices bring major upgrades in design, performance, and photography, aimed at professionals and everyday users alike.
Powered by the A19 Pro chip, the lineup delivers faster performance, improved efficiency, and better thermal management through a new vapor-cooled aluminum unibody.
Apple says this design offers “our best-ever battery life,” with the Pro Max delivering up to 39 hours of use, the longest ever on an iPhone.
On the camera front, both models feature a triple 48MP system with the longest optical zoom ever on iPhone—up to 8x on the Pro Max. The front camera has also been upgraded to 18MP with Center Stage, enhancing group selfies and video calls.
For video creators, Apple has added professional-grade tools such as ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2, and genlock support, along with 4K Dolby Vision recording at 60fps, making the devices powerful tools for filmmakers and content creators.
