A stunning story from Tehran, Iran’s capital, is grabbing attention worldwide. Two years ago, a woman named Catherine Pérez Shakdam, a French-born spy for Israel’s Mossad, secretly entered Iran. She was smart, charming, and highly trained, and she managed to fool Iran’s tight security.

Who is Catherine Perez Shakdam?

Catherine Pérez Shakdam, the woman behind a daring spy mission in Iran, has a fascinating background that adds to her shocking story. Born into a secular Jewish family in France, her life was shaped by her family’s history. Her maternal grandfather fought against Nazis during their occupation of France, while her paternal grandfather survived the Holocaust.

Catherine was highly educated, earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and two master’s degrees in finance and communications from the University of London. While studying in London, she began working with Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad.

During this time, she met a Muslim man from Yemen, fell in love, and married him. She converted to Sunni Islam during their marriage and later became a Shia Muslim, even writing books and articles about Shia Islam.

In 2014, Catherine divorced her husband and gained custody of their two children. Today, she identifies as a Zionist and a Jew, returning to her Jewish roots.

Her incredible journey—from a Jewish upbringing to a covert Mossad operative—has made her one of Israel’s most talked-about spies, leaving the world in awe of her courage and cunning.

How Did She Do It?

Catherine pretended to be curious about Islam and converted to Shia Islam. This helped her get close to the wives of top Iranian officials.

She became their friend, earning their trust and visiting their homes, even private areas where security was strict. While no one suspected her, she quietly took photos and gathered secret information, sending it all to Mossad.

As tensions grew between Iran and Israel, Iranian officials moved to safer locations, thinking they were protected. But Israel’s attacks were so precise, it seemed like they had a map of exactly where to strike. It turns out, Catherine’s secret information helped Israel plan these attacks.

How Was She Caught?

Iran’s intelligence agency began investigating and found photos of Catherine with officials. They realized she was a spy, but by then, she was gone.

Where Is She Now?

No one knows. Catherine has vanished without a trace. Iran has put up posters with her picture, but there’s no sign of her. Some believe she’s changed her identity and is living in another country.

Catherine Pérez Shakdam is now known as one of Israel’s boldest spies. Her secret mission has left Iran stunned and the world amazed.
