Gaza Palestine – A surprising incident took place near the Israel-Egypt border when an Egyptian lynx attacked several Israeli soldiers. The attack happened in the Mount Harif area, leaving the soldiers with injuries ranging from minor to serious. Israeli media reported the event, but it’s still unclear how the lynx crossed the border or why it attacked.

Shortly after the incident, an inspector from the Nature and Reserves Authority arrived at the scene. The inspector managed to capture the lynx safely. The animal was then taken to a special wildlife hospital where experts are examining it to understand its condition and behavior.

The Egyptian lynx is a medium-sized wild cat found in dry, desert areas. It grows to about 60 to 130 cm long and can run as fast as 80 km/h when chasing prey. This predator usually hunts small animals like rodents, making its attack on humans very unusual.

Authorities are now looking into how this rare event happened. More updates may follow as they learn about the lynx and its journey across the border. For now, the soldiers are receiving medical care, and the lynx is under observation.
