Dubai: Moroccan-American rapper French Montana has announced his engagement to Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a Princess of Dubai and daughter of the UAE’s Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The engagement reportedly took place in June 2025 during Paris Fashion Week, where French Montana made a surprise runway appearance at the 3.Paradis Spring/Summer 2026 show. The couple officially confirmed their engagement on August 27, 2025.
Sheikha Mahra, 31, is known for her outspoken and independent personality. She studied international relations in London and recently launched her own fragrance line Mahra M1, which gained attention for a perfume named “Divorce”.
Her personal life drew international headlines last year when she publicly announced her split from her former husband, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, through an Instagram post in July 2024.
The bold message, invoking a traditional divorce declaration, quickly went viral. The couple shares a daughter, born in May 2024.
Rumors of a relationship between French Montana, 40, and Sheikha Mahra began in late 2024, when the Princess shared photos of the rapper during his visit to Dubai.
