New York – Emmy-winning comedian Hannah Einbinder has drawn widespread attention on social media after comparing the brief detention of international activists aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla to the long-term suffering of Palestinians living under occupation.
Referring to the activists detained after the flotilla was intercepted by ‘Israeli’ forces.
“If you’ve ever read the details of what’s been done to the flotilla activists over five days, imagine how many Palestinians live in these conditions for years until their deaths.” Einbinder wrote on social media.
