Eid-al-Fitr 2024’s celebration date depends on seeing the Shawwal crescent moon. Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar chose April 10 for Eid.
However, in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Lucknow, the moon wasn’t seen, so Eid moved to April 11 there.

This decision follows the tradition of waiting for the moon’s sighting before confirming the celebration date. It’s a common practice in many Muslim communities worldwide.
Despite slight differences in dates, the essence of Eid remains unchanged—a time for prayer, reflection, joy, and coming together with loved ones to mark the end of Ramadan with gratitude and festivity.
