Apple is set to launch the iPhone 16 series in September, featuring four models: iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max. The standard models, iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, are expected to get a design refresh.
Meanwhile, the Pro models might come with larger screens, improved camera systems, and quicker charging capabilities.

Display
The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will keep their current screen sizes, but the iPhone 16 Pro might get a 6.3-inch screen, and the 16 Pro Max could have a 6.9-inch screen.
Design
The iPhone 16 standard models will have their camera lenses arranged vertically, different from the diagonal setup on the iPhone 15. They’ll also come with an action button, like the Pro models, and a new camera button, which was initially thought to be exclusive to the Pro versions.
Camera
The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus might not get better cameras, but the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will. They could have a 48-megapixel main camera for clearer photos with better color and less graininess.
Also, these Pro models might have a new 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera for taking better pictures in the dark. Both Pro models could get a 5x zoom lens, which was only on the Pro Max before. The iPhone 16 Pro Max might even have a special periscope camera for zooming in really far without losing quality.
Battery
The iPhone 16 might have a bigger battery at 3,561 mAh, but the 16 Plus could actually have a smaller battery, going from 4,383 mAh to 4,006 mAh.
The 16 Pro will have a slightly bigger battery at 3,355 mAh, and the Pro Max could get a 4,676 mAh battery. People who know about these things say the new iPhones will last longer on a single charge compared to the iPhone 15 series. Right now, the iPhone 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max are known for having good battery life.
Fast Charing
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will offer faster charging speeds. The iPhone 16 Pro models will support 40W wired charging and 20W Mag safe charging.
Colours
Sonny Dickson shared a picture on X showing that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus might come in five colors: Blue, Pink, White, Black, and Green. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max could have four color options: Natural Titanium, White Titanium, Black Titanium, and Bronze Titanium.

The new Pro models will look shinier than the iPhone 15 Pro because Apple is using a new way to color the Titanium, making it look glossy. This new finish will also be tougher against scratches.
Bezels
The iPhone 16 Pro will feature the thinnest bezels on a smartphone display ever. It is said that iPhone 16 Pro bezels would be thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra which is around 1.5 mm.
Chipset
iPhone 16 series will adopt a new A series chip. The standard 16 models will feature A18 chip and the Pro models will feature the A18 pro chip.
