The Fattah-1 is Iran’s first hypersonic medium-range ballistic missile, built by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It uses solid fuel and is about 12 meters long, with a range of up to 1,400 kilometers.

Hypersonic missiles like the Fattah-1 can fly at speeds five times faster than sound and can change direction during flight.

This makes them very hard for radar and defense systems to detect or stop. The Fattah-1 is known for its incredible speed, accuracy, and ability to maneuver mid-air.

According to a report by Iran Watch, it uses a single-stage propulsion system and can carry 200 kilograms of explosives. Before Wednesday morning, Israel launched airstrikes on Tehran after warning residents to leave the city for their safety.

After launching the Fattah-1 missile towards Israel, Iran reportedly sent a “swarm of drones” towards Israel, where it intercepted two over the Dead Sea area, as the army claimed.

Israel has claimed that its attacks killed senior Iranian commander Ali Shadmani along with his predecessor, Gholam Ali Rashid.

Since June 13, when Israel began airstrikes on Iran, both Tehran and Jerusalem have suffered heavy damage. Many civilians have been killed on both sides as the conflict continues.

Even though the situation was one of the main topics at the recent G7 Summit in Canada, tensions between Israel and Iran are still rising, with no sign of peace or calm.
