LinkedIn is trying out something new – a feed with TikTok-style vertical videos. Even though they haven’t officially announced it yet, some users have noticed this change recently, and the company confirmed to TechCrunch that they are indeed testing it.
This new feature will be in a separate section called the “video” tab within the LinkedIn app. You’ll be able to scroll up and down to watch different videos, just like you do on TikTok or Instagram Reels.
This isn’t the first time LinkedIn has tried out a popular format. They previously had a Stories feature where posts would disappear after a while.
That feature didn’t last long, but LinkedIn hinted that they were still interested in experimenting with video, saying they wanted to make a new and improved video experience on their platform.

LinkedIn probably hopes that this new video feed will show off content from its professional creators and leaders, many of whom already post videos on the platform. However, it’s not clear yet how many LinkedIn users are interested in watching videos specifically related to work.
So, keep an eye out for this new feature if you’re a LinkedIn user who enjoys watching short vertical videos – it might be coming your way soon!
