Indian Entrepreneur and founder of Infosys, NR Narayana Murthy, gave his four-month-old grandson Ekagrah Rohan Murthy shares of Infosys worth ₹240 crore.
This makes Ekagrah one of India’s youngest millionaires! He now owns 1,500,000 shares, which is 0.04% of Infosys.
This gift reduced Murthy’s Infosys stake from 0.40% to 0.36%. Sudha Murty, now a Rajya Sabha MP, owns 0.83% of Infosys worth about Rs 5,600 crore.
She once helped Narayana Murthy start Infosys by investing Rs 10,000.
