OpenAI offers ChatGPT Go subscription to all users in India

Dubai – OpenAI has revealed that it will offer a one-year free subscription to its ChatGPT Go plan for all users in India, beginning November 4, 2025.

The initiative aims to expand access to artificial intelligence tools across the country, making advanced AI capabilities available to a broader audience of students, professionals, and creators.

According to OpenAI, the ChatGPT Go plan includes enhanced features such as faster response times, access to GPT-4 in a limited capacity, and the ability to generate longer conversations and outputs compared to the free tier.

“OpenAI is offering a one-year free subscription to its ChatGPT Go plan for all users in India, starting November 4, 2025,” the company said in a statement.

Industry experts view the move as a strategic effort by OpenAI to strengthen its user base in India, one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for AI adoption.

The country has seen a rapid rise in demand for generative AI tools in sectors including education, technology, and digital marketing.

India’s large English-speaking population, the company’s outreach could help millions experience the benefits of AI-powered productivity tools.
