Kae Asakura, better known by her former stage name Rae Lil Black, has seemingly embarked on a new chapter in her life. She has embraced Islam and shared her journey through social media.

The ex-adult entertainment actress recently posted short video clips of herself taking part in Ramadan activities in Malaysia, including breaking her fast at mosques in Kuala Lumpur while dressed in traditional Muslim attire.

Asakura’s exploration of Islam became evident in a series of TikTok videos where she announced her intention to observe the Islamic holy month, which began on March 2, 2025.

Just a week prior, she held a meet-and-greet with fans at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, where attendees gifted her prayer mats and travel prayer kits—items that hinted at her growing interest in the faith.

She has since shared photos and videos of her visits to mosques across various locations, both leading up to and during Ramadan.

In one reflective post, Asakura expressed her hopes for the holy month, stating, “I hope we’ll all have a beautiful whole month of being close to Allah, and also being close to your loved ones, family, brothers and sisters.” She added, “I’m very excited. I hope God and you guys will give me strength to go through this month. Ramadan Mubarak,” as reported by World of Buzz.

Her first iftar (the meal to break the daily fast) and prayers in Kuala Lumpur took place on March 9, 2025. The following day, she shared clips of herself walking through the city wearing a hijab and posing outside the notable Masjid Sri Sendayan mosque.

Asakura’s social media presence has also undergone a significant transformation, with all adult content removed from her accounts. She has clarified that any recently released adult material featuring her was filmed years ago, predating her apparent shift toward Islam.

Asakura’s public embrace of the faith and participation in Ramadan mark a striking departure from her past career in the adult entertainment industry, drawing attention from fans and followers worldwide as she navigates this personal and spiritual transition.
