Apple CEO Tim Cook has hinted at the upcoming release of a new device in the company’s Air lineup, set to be unveiled this week.

In a post on X, Cook shared a brief video featuring the phrase “There’s something in the air,” accompanied by the caption “This week.”

While he did not reveal specific details, the announcement has sparked speculation about what Apple has in store.

Many expect the launch to be a new MacBook Air. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently reported that Apple will introduce 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models equipped with the advanced M4 chip sometime this month.

This follows a pattern, as the company debuted its M3 MacBook Air around this time last year. However, other possibilities exist within Apple’s Air-branded products.

Gurman also mentioned that updated iPad Air models and new keyboards were planned for release near the recent iPhone 16E launch.

He added that Apple is currently reducing iPad Air stock, indicating that a new version may be coming.

There’s also talk of a new iPhone “Air” model, though experts believe it’s too soon for such an announcement. With the reveal just days away, Apple fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation of what “something in the air” will bring.
