New York: Amybeth McNulty, the Irish-Canadian actress best known for her role as Anne Shirley-Cuthbert in the hit series Anne with an E, has used her platform to draw attention to the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
In a recent Instagram Story, the 23-year-old star reposted an image carrying the stark message: “All Eyes on Gaza City, Famine Declared.”
The post comes amid growing international concern after a famine was formally declared in the region last week.
McNulty has been outspoken on the issue for over a year, frequently using her social media presence to amplify voices from Gaza and spotlight the plight of Palestinians.
“She has consistently shown solidarity with those suffering in the region,” observers noted, pointing to her repeated efforts since 2023.
