The Arab League has issued a strong condemnation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent comments about annexing parts of sovereign Arab territories as part of his vision for a “Greater Israel.”
In an official statement, the League described Netanyahu’s remarks as “a violation of the sovereignty of Arab states” and “a serious threat to collective Arab national security.”
It further called the statements “a clear challenge to international law and the principles of international legitimacy.”

The League stressed that such positions undermine regional stability and could inflame tensions across the Middle East.
Egypt also expressed its opposition to the comments, demanding official clarifications from Israel. Cairo warned that the remarks carry implications that could trigger instability in the region.
