Before Shoaib Jamai, Kalimul Hafeez was the president of Delhi AIMIM . Announcing this, former party MP Imtiaz Jaleel had said that as per the instructions received from Asaduddin Owaisi, I am happy to announce Dr. Shoaib Jamai as the president of Delhi AIMIM. He had said, ‘We hope that he will strengthen the party in the national capital and work for the welfare of the society.’ Jamai thanked AIMIM supremo Owaisi on this and said that this is a big responsibility and I pray to God to give me the strength to fulfill it honestly and in a better way.

Shoaib Jamai said, ‘Being the chief of AIMIM Delhi, I will need your support. Whether we are critics or supporters, old party workers or new ones, elderly or young zealots, we will take everyone along, Inshallah. The responsibility of the party is bigger than the personality. We all have to strengthen the Majlis in the whole of Delhi.’ He said that I assure the party and the crores of people who love the chief sahab that I will fulfill this responsibility with great sincerity.
