She explained that she decided to make the announcement after learning that tabloid media was preparing to report on the story. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” she added. St. Clair urged journalists to respect her child’s privacy and avoid invasive coverage.

Musk currently has 12 known children: five with his first wife, Justine Wilson (twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian); three with singer Grimes (X AE A-XII, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Tau Techno Mechanicus); and twins Strider and Azure with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.
