On Sunday, May 18, 2025, a powerful bomb exploded near Jabbar Market in Killa Abdullah, a district in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. The blast killed four people and injured 20 others, according to local officials.
The explosion caused major damage, destroying several shops and setting fire to nearby businesses. It also sparked panic among people in the busy market area.
The blast happened close to a Frontier Corps (FC) fort, a military outpost. After the explosion, there was a short gunfight between FC soldiers and unknown attackers.
Riaz Khan, a senior official in Killa Abdullah, confirmed the deaths and injuries. Among the injured were a security guard for a local tribal leader and several passersby.
Police and security forces quickly sealed off the area and started a search to find those responsible. The attack has left the community shaken, with many worried about safety.

This bombing comes just days after another violent incident in Balochistan. Four security personnel were killed in a gun attack on a checkpoint in Khuzdar district.
