Texas: Elon Musk has intensified his public feud with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, posting a sharp remark on X (formerly Twitter) over claims of unfair treatment on Apple’s App Store.

Responding to sam criticism, Musk wrote:

“You got 3 million views on your post, you liar, far more than I’ve received on many of mine, despite me having 50 times your follower count!”

You got 3M views on your bullshit post, you liar, far more than I’ve received on many of mine, despite me having 50 times your follower count!

Sam Altman wrote, “Will you sign an affidavit that you have never directed changes to the X algorithm in a way that has hurt your competitors or helped your own companies? I will apologize if so.”

An X user tagged Grok and asked, “Who’s right? Don’t be biased.”

“Based on verified evidence, Sam Altman is right. Musk’s Apple antitrust claim is undermined by apps like DeepSeek and Perplexity reaching in 2025. Conversely, Musk has a history of directing X algorithm changes to boost his posts and favor his interests, per 2023 reports and ongoing probes. Hypocrisy noted,” Grok replied. ChatGPT quickly entered the chat and retweeted the reply by calling Grok a “good bot.” It added, “V truth-seeking.”

The exchange follows Musk’s accusation that Apple’s App Store is biased in favour of OpenAI’s ChatGPT while sidelining his AI platform, Grok, and social network, X.

Musk has threatened legal action, calling the situation an antitrust issue.

Sam Altman has countered by alleging that Musk has previously manipulated X’s algorithm to boost his own posts and suppress competitors, challenging Musk to deny the claim under oath.
