The Israeli military announced on Sunday a “tactical pause” in its operations in specific areas of the Gaza Strip, citing humanitarian purposes as the reason for the decision.
In a statement published on its official Telegram channel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, “The pause will begin in the areas where the IDF is not operating: Al-Mawasi, Deir el-Balah, and Gaza City, every day until further notice.”

The army added that “designated secure routes” would be established to ensure the “safe passage of humanitarian convoys.”
