Kabul: Indian content creator and YouTuber Pulkit Chaudhary, known online as The Tall Trotter, has reportedly converted to Islam during a visit to Afghanistan, according to a video posted on his YouTube channel. His Instagram handle is @thetalltrotter.

In the video, which has garnered attention, Pulkit shares his personal journey toward embracing Islam on YouTube video title – “I Became Muslim In Afganistan | Real Story“

Fans and followers are reacting strongly to the news. Some are expressing surprise, while others have praised his commitment and openness in sharing a major life decision.

The video has already received thousands of views, and many are discussing it deeply across social media.

“No permanent change or conversion into Islam; my motive is to learn new cultures around the world,” he said.

Added in YouTube video description.

“This video is about my personal experience of travelling around Afghanistan. While travelling in Kabul, the capital city, I met some local friends and decided to visit their home. During our conversations, they asked me about religion and religious things, and somehow the topic ended with me converting to Islam. “

“Just to explore the culture and the religion, I said yes, okay, okay, okay. But I want to clarify that this video is not meant to support any specific religion or criticise any religion. It is simply a part of my travel experience.”

Pulkit, who built his online following through global travel vlogs, shared in a recent YouTube video that his journey of exploring different cultures sparked a deep curiosity about Islam.

During his time in Afghanistan, he engaged closely with local communities, including interactions with Taliban fighters, which led him to study the faith more seriously.

He explained that these experiences inspired him to embrace Islam, marking what he described as a turning point in his personal and spiritual life.

“This marks a significant moment for Pulkit’s public persona,” as his content has long centered on travel and cultural exploration. Followers now anticipate how his new beliefs may influence the direction of his storytelling.

The conversion may shift his future content direction or influence his engagement with audiences, particularly across South Asia and Muslim communities globally.
