Gaza: The Roya Media office in Gaza City was damaged late Sunday after a massive ‘Israeli’ airstrike destroyed a residential tower opposite the building, according to Roya’s correspondent in Gaza, Ghazi al-Aloul.
Al-Aloul confirmed that the damage has hindered the team’s work. This marks the second time the network’s facilities have been hit during the nearly two-year war.
Its first office was completely destroyed in an ‘Israeli’ bombing during the early days of the aggression in October 2023.
The strike comes amid what has been described as a dangerous escalation of bombardment on Gaza City, especially in western neighborhoods such as Al-Rimal.

In recent days, ‘Israeli’ forces have issued new evacuation orders and demolished several major residential towers, including the Al-Sousi, Al-Mushtaha, and Al-Roya towers, displacing thousands of families.
The bombing near the Roya office, opposite the Al-Sherab complex, caused direct damage and is obstructing journalists from carrying out their field coverage, Al-Aloul added.
