After attending the all-party meeting on Operation Sindoor on Thursday, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi called for a worldwide campaign against The Resistance Front, a branch of the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba. He also urged action to weaken Pakistan’s struggling economy by pushing for its inclusion on the FATF grey list.

In 2022, Pakistan was removed from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) list after four years. FATF is a global body that tracks terror funding.

Asaduddin Owaisi urged the central government to push the USA to classify The Resistance Front (TRF) as a terrorist group.

“I have complimented our armed forces and the government for Operation Sindoor. I also suggested that we should run a global campaign against The Resistance Front (TRF). I also suggested that the government should request the USA to designate it (TRF) as a terrorist organisation. We should also make efforts to grey-list Pakistan in FATF,” he said after the meeting.
