A woman Amazon beauty tool took to social media to share the incredible results of a technique that allowed her to get back her hair in areas where it was thinning.
Parveen Kaur Sahota, who goes by the TikTok handle @parvsahota, had bald patches before she discovered a non-invasive method to help grow back her hair.
She captured the attention of millions when she shared a video demonstrating her use of a derma roller on her scalp, and within just a month, her video amassed over 4.3 million views.
This effective hair care method doesn’t break the bank either, as a high-quality Koi Beauty derma roller, available on Amazon, can be purchased for just $9.97.

In the TikTok video, Sahota showcases her technique, rolling the derma roller over her dry, clean scalp twice a week, using light pressure and varying directions, as she explains in subtitles.
Following the head massage, Sahota revealed that she applies hair oil all over her scalp.
Towards the conclusion of the video, she showcased progress photos taken on January 10 and January 28, showing significant hair growth in areas where she previously experienced baldness.
This innovative practice captured the attention of Kimberley Medd, Clinic Lead at skincare company Face the Future, who explained the science behind it.

“A derma roller is used for the skin to help with rejuvenation, reduce fine lines and smooth skin texture, reduce pigmentation, boost skin firmness, and to support minimization of acne scarring,” she told the US Sun.
Kimberley also highlighted that derma rollers offer versatile benefits, as they can be used on the skin, scalp, and even the beard, providing an alternative to in-clinic scalp microneedling.

She emphasized that derma rollers effectively stimulate sebum and collagen production, enhance circulation, and promote cellular turnover, thereby benefiting both skincare and hair health, all without causing discomfort.
“Other pros are that it’s affordable, easy to use, can help tackle hair loss and boost hair density,” she added.
However, neglecting to clean your derma roller could pose a potential drawback, as it may result in irritation and heightened skin sensitivity.
Also, employing too aggressive a technique during use could lead to discomfort and exacerbate stress on the skin.
