New York: American entrepreneur and tech billionaire Elon Musk has sparked controversy following his remarks on Boston-based Imam Abdullah Faaruuq.
The dispute arose after a video of Imam Faaruuq’s speech circulated online, in which he criticized the role of white Americans in the country’s history.
In his address, Faaruuq said: “What’s wrong with you, sick white Americans? Go back to Europe, because you’ve done nothing but cause hell in this country and all over the world. This is the land of the coward and home of the slave. Without Islam, America will meet its demise.”
A user on X shared a post, where musk mentioned and added comment. Musk said “Kick him out of the country”
Elon Musk reacted to the imam’s comments, triggering heated debate across social media platforms. Supporters argue that the Tesla and SpaceX CEO was standing up against divisive rhetoric, while critics accuse him of unfairly targeting a religious leader and fueling polarization.
