Linktree is making waves in the creator economy with a fresh set of monetization features that let its 70 million users earn money directly from their profiles. The link-in-bio platform, a go-to for simplifying how creators share content, is now rolling out tools to sell courses, digital products, and affiliate goods, putting it in direct competition with platforms like Beacons, Shorby, and even Patreon.
Through a new partnership with Kajabi, creators can now build and sell courses right on Linktree. Whether it’s a yoga instructor offering guided sessions or a chef teaching recipes, anyone can set their own prices and collect payments via Stripe. It’s a game-changer for creators looking to turn their skills into steady income.
Selling digital products like e-books, templates, or guides is also getting easier. Previously, creators leaned on third-party platform SendOwl for these sales, but Linktree now handles it all in-house, taking a cut based on the user’s plan. This shift comes just a year after Patreon rolled out similar one-off digital product sales, highlighting the fierce race to capture creators’ loyalty.
“Creators or many people around the world have something to share, have something to teach,” Linktree CEO Alex Zaccaria. “We want to make that far more accessible.”
Linktree is launching shoppable storefronts that let them earn commissions from big-name brands like Amazon, Target, Lululemon, and Revolve. They can also sprinkle affiliate links across their profiles for extra cash.
A new “sponsored links” feature takes it further, letting brands pay creators for prominent spots on their Linktree—like earning a payout when a follower subscribes to Hulu through a labeled link. Zaccaria says more is coming, with plans to introduce cost-per-click and cost-per-impression options down the line.

To keep creators motivated, Linktree’s new “Rewards” program dangles perks like bonus commissions and potential brand deals for hitting key milestones. All earnings, whether from courses, digital goods, shops, or sponsored links, funnel into a new “wallet” feature, giving creators a clear view of their income in one place.
“Everything’s dropped into one single wallet,” Zaccaria said. “Whether you’re selling courses, digital products, or curating from sponsored links, it’s all there.”
Available now in the “Earn” section of Linktree’s app and website, these tools mark a major leap for the platform. Its signature simplicity with powerful ways to make money, Linktree is becoming a vital hub for creators building sustainable careers. In a crowded creator economy, this could be the edge they need to thrive.
